How's everybody doing now that spring has finally arrived?

Some family news: Guy is on the B Honor Roll at Webster County High; Alissa and Linsey are excited about finishing up another semester of college in May; and Angie's mom, Ann Carpenter, is running for Webster County Commissioner. Of course, Dee and Angie are looking forward to more HRW (Harley riding weather)!

Now for the latest about Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili and The Custard Stand restaurants...
Briefly...

VISITORS
Spc. Erin Millwood, who is stationed in Afghanistan, visited The Custard Stand in Webster Springs on March 22. She was with her grandparents, Joe and Donna Betterton; her mother, Sarah; and her fiancé, Miguel. Read more about their visit.

On Easter weekend, we met Facebook fans Mike and Shelly Rose and their
family; Freddie, Debbie and son Greg Brewster along with Shane and Lolly Rice at TCS Webster. Angie gave them a personal tour.

NEW BUSINESS CSHDC entered a brokerage agreement with Total Convenience Marketing, which serves stores in North and South Carolina. We're excited about the new opportunities with John Johnstone and Brad Belue of TCM.

Q&A

What's the right way to thaw your chili?
Can I refreeze it?

ContainersThaw CSHDC by putting it in the fridge or a cooler overnight. Or thaw it in a sink with cold water. Larger sizes may take a day or so longer.

If you're planning to refreeze the chili, don't thaw it in the microwave, on top of a hot surface or in warm or hot water.
